Far Cry 5's map editor will let players rip assets straight out of Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and plonk them down in one of the game's Montana outposts. While you won

Kotaku also noted the claim seemed harsh given Krollywood had made all the levels using Far Cry 5's in-game map editor, and Krollywood was not profiting from the levels.

Its a Far Cry like the previous ones, but then better, bigger, faster and better. And, ofcourse did they release there game editor again so you can make your own maps with FC5. But, they added 10.000 assets to play with! 10.000!!!! In fact, they did add all assets ofcourse from FC5 itself, but also from FC4 and FC Primal.
Far cry 6 is great r/farcry • This one concept art looks way better then what we got in the final game the city ain't covered in barriers there's actual people walking around and the soldiers look like soldiers instead of having them wear bright colors in the final game. "This is an accurate recreated map made in the Far Cry 5 Arcade Map Editor. Everything from as small as Sun's garden to all 9 Dharma Initiative Stations are included," reads the description. FC4 User Maps in FC5 Map Editor Has anyone figured out a way to "convert" Far Cry 4 maps so that they'll open in the Far Cry 5 editor? I made some really juicy maps way back and since FC5's editor supposedly has models from previous games I figured there must be a way to get it to work

Far Cry Arcade is part map editor and part game-design tool, and it'll be a free source of new maps to play (created by both the developers and the community) and new challenges to take on every week.
The map editor is a selling point t for many people and I enjoy it more than the stories. You can make any sort of mission-like scenario and map. I find it quite unwise and frankly lazy to get rid of it. And it’s fantastic! Far cry Map community has always been a large population of the series’ fans.
The finishing touches to my Paris inspired urban map created on PC in four days time using the incredible Far Cry 5 Arcade Editor. I'm still tweaking the loa
This. You'd want to do it this way anyways, because the fixtures don't have settings for modifying the limited light they cast. Kind of a shame, though, as a flickering fluorescent light where the bulbs are always at full brightness looks a bit odd.
Far Cry 4 editor had like less than 10 physics objects in the editor, no custom lighting or scripting, and a horrible budget limit that would barely let you build a thing without filling it. Only thing that editor did better than Far Cry 5's arcade editor, was enviromental sound effects to apply to maps. mrB1.
