Its very smooth, mine is anyway, but more complicated compared to a manual and expensive to repair or replace.

After a serious issue with the gearbox on our 2014 2.0 diesel auto S-max, we have recently had to pay for the gearbox to be reconditioned. We got the car back on Friday last week, but we are again experiencing problems with the car struggling to find a gear.
