Shadow has terrible pacing, Lara's character development has completely regressed for 90% of the game and the story is weaker. I still think Shadow is a good game, but Rise is just much better. My favourite is currently still Rise of the Tomb Raider - still have to finish Shadow of the Tomb Raider, though.
